TRAVELING TO THE FLORIDA KEYS

Most major airlines come into the Key West International Airport.
Also consider flying into Miami or Ft. Lauderdale and driving into the Keys.

Key West is approximately 3-and-one-half hours drive time from the Miami airport,
and about 4 or 4-and-a-quarter hours drive time from the Ft. Lauderdale airport.

Marathon is approximately 2-and-one-half hours drive time from the Miami airport,
and about 3 or 3-and-a-quarter hours drive time from the Ft. Lauderdale airport.

Check into one of the online reservations services, such as Orbitz, Expedia, Travelocity.

If traveling for up to 5 nights, there is an area of Travelocity called "Last Minute Deals"
in which you can book a flight and car rental together for a good combo rate.
Note that "Last Minute Deals" only show up for the current weekend and usually the next two.
